Meet Gus
Gus is a curious little dog with a big heart and an even bigger dream—to build a team of children who believe they can make a difference.
Through every adventure, he inspires children to discover that curiosity, courage, and contribution can change the world—one small act at a time.
The Traveling Coin
It all begins when a mysterious bottle washed onto the shore.
Inside, Gus discovers the Traveling Coin—a symbol of kindness and contribution that inspires children to pass one good deed from one person to the next.
More Than a Story
Meet the Author
Kevin Kirk believes the stories children grow up with help shape who they become.
That's why he created The Traveling Coin, the first story in the Make a Wave Collection—to give families more than a book to read together, and a story they can live together.
